Fitted Scottoilers in that year to the following bikes and never had to replace the chain or sprockets before I sold them at the stated miles.
1987 GPz900R 26000 miles, 1997 VFR750F 23000 miles, 2001 VFR800FI 34000 miles (still own) ,2016 CRF1000L Africa Twin 11000 miles, 2020 SV650 13000 miles (Still own) 2020 Ducati Multistrada 1260 10000 miles(Still own).
It would be fair to say I appreciate the benefits of fitting a Scottoiler and getting longer chain life but for me the less time spent lubing and adjusting your chain means more time riding your bike. Less chain maintenance,longer chain life = more riding time and less expense = win win

Had it on the bike for over 5 years and makes it so much easier than remembering to spray the chain all the time. Several trips to the Alps in wet/cold weather and never worried about the chain.
When I change my bike if it doesn’t have one will definitely get another fitted.
