Perfect for when I tour, don’t have to worry about chain lubrication
Estd. chain life: 20,000 miles
Good bit of kit! Little messy on the rear wheel rim but the convenience makes it totally worth it!
Estd. chain life: 35,000 miles
I purchased my Suzuki Bandit 1250 GT with 1200 miles on the clock in 2010 and I asked the dealer to fit a Scottoiler. I have toured all over Europe on the is bike which has now got 50,000 miles under its belt. Surprisingly the bike still has its OEM chain. In my option this is due to the way the chain is oiled. Thank you Scottoiler for saving me money.
Estd. chain life: 51,200 miles
I use a Scottoiler and have done since maybe 6 months after I purchased my bike. I changed my chain and sprockets at 18,000 miles with both front and rear sprocket having lots of life left and the chain (other than some stretch) was in great condition (I just wanted a fancy new gold DID chain) – No rust or failed O-rings.
Before the Scottoiler, I used WD-40 Wax lube which was great but was a pain to keep having to wash and reapply as I commute on my bike. Now I just fill up my Scottoiler every so often and the chain gets a rinse (no need to scrub anymore) when I wash the bike.Estd. chain life: 28,000 miles
Had the firestorm for 20 years, from 4000 miles, now on 34,000 miles, still on original chain and sprockets, with loads of torque from the v twin.
No cleaning, or chain adjusting required.
Great product!Estd. chain life: 30,000 miles
I have mounted my xSystem first on a KTM 1290 Super Adventure and no issues on it after 40,000km on it. I made last the chain and sprocket with the same amount of kilometers and sold it still with the same kit.
Then I put a new kit on my current Tracer 9 GT and after almost 50,000km, still happy with it. […]
The aftermarket service was excellent and kinda quick to answer to my request and questions by providing precise answers. Big cheer up for that !
Do I recommend your products ? For sure ! My dad has just installed his on his brand new Honda Transalp 750 and he can’t wait to test it into real conditions.Estd. chain life: 33,000 miles
